Those Guys From Miami

I remember sitting outdoors having a Blue Moon draft at a restaurant around the corner from my apartment when the discussion at our table turned to the recent arrest of a group of guys from Miami who’s terror plot was foiled by authorities. This happened a while ago sometime last year and for whatever reason today, I raised the question to myself: Whatever happened to those guys from Miami? So I did a little research and came across a Washington post article that delves into the story a tad bit behind the headlines.

I’m not sure how accurate that article is but reading it does raise a few eyebrows. Should gov’t agencies err on the side of caution? Definitely. To the degree which led to the arrest of the suspects from Miami? I’m not sure. I can’t help but feel politics played a big role in this specific case, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I want law enforcement and/or federal agencies to be able to operate without the scrutiny of its own administration who seems more worried about the latest poll numbers than actually protecting its citizens.

Do I feel bad for those suspected? No, not at all. If it wasn’t this, then it would of been something else that would ultimately do them in. They don’t seem to be the brightest bunch from what we’ve gathered.

so this is what it is. one word and one word only, ASSumptions. We conlude things to the ideas of our likings. May that be factual we just assume that its right because it’s our idea and our own belief dammit. It’s like this, when you go to a dept. store and you wanna buy a pack of underwear why is there only two choice of colors dammit. Do you assume that i like one or the other? What if i dont, alright you win, then i will follow. On different scales of examples, assumptions are made. How they are made who knows. All i know is that when i fill out the census each year, i assume that i am picking my most fitting choice, which is usually out of two options. Im an underwear specialist so i can unleash my opinion about this but if you got a person in a suit that has never been in the ghetto nor even know what the ghetto is besides their rendezvous of what its like from Boyz in the hood. Then they have no right making any laws or rules about outlawing the word “nigger” or putting harsher penalyties on kids selling drugs. thats my opinion in a scrambled automata, over and out.
